Denmark’s music festival, Smukfest in the city of Skanderborg, announced concertgoers will be able to use an NFC wristband to purchase goods at the event, reported NFC World. There will be about 300 hundred traders at Smukfest that will accept contactless payments with Toughpad, the NFC tablet by Panasonic.
Fifty-thousand will be in attendance at the concert, and all will be able to add credit onto their wristband at various cashless stations at the festival or through the event’s smartphone application.
