Oracle, Agiliance In Disagreement with PCI Council

Oracle and Agiliance are among the firms that American Banker says are “hopping mad” about the PCI Council’s requirement that software providers share detailed vulnerability data, in some cases prior to the disbursement of a solution that fixes that very vulnerability.

The rule has been in effect since 2010, American Banker notes, but the PCI Council recently asked the industry for comments, leading to the recent spat.
