A Commerce First for Facebook: New App Lets Users Download Coupons

A third party application called Valassis is letting Facebook users access electronic coupons that can either be printed or downloaded within a Facebook account, TechCrunch reports. The report says this is the first time Facebook users can access coupons without leaving the site.
The coupon platform does not yet feature a redemption system that works within Facebook, but chief digital officer Jim Parkinson says such a system is “being seriously considered” by his team.
