Facebook Phasing Out Credits, Launches First Real-Money Game

The latest entry in how Facebook will become a payments company involves gambling.

For the first time, the world’s most popular social network is letting users access a game application that uses actual currency rather than Facebook Credits, TechCrunch notes. The game, called Bingo & Slots Friendzy, is available only to users 18 years of age and older located in the U.K.

According to the report, Bingo Friendzy's users must enter personal details and confirm their ages to play. The app then requires bank account details, which are used to make a deposit between £10 and £500 to start playing.
