Iowa Starts Accepting Dwolla For Tax Payments
Iowa has begun accepting some tax payments via money transfer startup Dwolla, according to Fast Company. Those paying the cigarette stamp tax, which generates around $100 million of Iowa's revenue, will be the first to be able to use Dwolla to pay their taxes.
Governor Terry Brandstad said he'd consider expanding Dwolla payments to other fees and taxes in the future as well, notes Fast Company.
