Alibaba Now World’s Largest eCommerce Site, Hits $157 Billion In Sales

Chinese eCommerce site Alibaba sold over one trillion RMB ($157 billion) worth of goods in 2012, making it the largest eCommerce site in the world by a wide margin.

Alibaba recorded $3 billion in sales in a single day earlier this year, and it’s gross merchandise volume surpasses that of Amazon and eBay combined, reports Venture Beat.
