Walmart Faces New Round Of Gift Receipt Scam Claims

For the second year in a row, Walmart is being accused of scamming customers who return gifts by offering less money than an item was originally purchased for.

The report, created by CBS Boston, noted a producer attempting to return a TV purchased for $248 but only receiving $228 in return because of the item’s new list price, notes the Huffington Post.

Walmart came under similar fire for failing to fully refund gifts after the holiday season last year.
