Apple Awarded Patent For EasyPay

Apple has been awarded a patent for its EasyPay wireless payments technology, reports The Next Web.
EasyPay allows consumers to make purchases from brick-and-mortar stores via WiFi connection on their mobile device. The patent was initially filed in January 2012.
