Foursquare Ups Data Collection With New Feature

Location-based social network Foursquare announced a new feature on August 21 aimed at collecting more business data from users, TechCrunch reported.

Foursquare will now ask users questions about businesses when they check in. The follow-up responses will then be given through the Foursquare app. The media outlet suggested the move was in line with the company’s goal of rivaling Yelp’s local business data collection.
