Pinterest-Like Fancy Exceeds a Million Users, Launches Mobile Apps
Fancy has more than a million users, facilitates $50,000 in social commerce per week, and issued updated versions of its iOS apps this week.
Fancy’s user base has quadrupled this year. Founded by Joe Einhorn, the company aims to connect images of popular products — posted in a similar fashion as is done on Pinterest — to the merchants who create those products, basically acting as an affiliate, and taking a cut when the site moves a sale along.
