More Trouble For New Canadian Currencies
New forms of Canadian currency have come under fire from a series of attacks from consumers in recent weeks, reports the Wall Street Journal.
Many Canadians are displeased with the new polymer-based bills that Canada began rolling out two years ago, which are harder to counterfeit than paper bills but are also prone to melting and sticking together.
Other Canadians are upset with the new $20 bill, which includes a depiction of a maple leaf that is not Canadian, but rather Norwegian in nature.
