Chicago Transit Authority To Adopt Contactless Bank Cards Payments In 2013

The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) and Pace have announced a new “Ventra” contactless fare payment system to begin in summer 2013.

Customers will be able to pay via Ventra Cards, Ventra Tickets for single-ride and one-day passes, and bank-issued debit and credit cards equipped with contactless capabilities, reports Finextra.
