Which Telco-Backed Mobile Wallet Venture Just Disbanded?

Consumers in the Netherlands will probably have to wait a little longer to use a mobile wallet, now that the telco-backed joint venture called “Sixpack” has decided to disband.

In a statement, ABN Amro, ING, KPN, Rabobank and Vodafone have said that their initial plans to roll out a mobile wallet platform to consumers were decided to be "too costly and too long" to follow through with, Finextra says.
