Square Announces Square Register Integration With Blue Bottle Coffee

13 February 2013

Square has announced that it’s integrating with small California- and New York-based coffee chain Blue Bottle Coffee, according to TechCrunch. Blue Bottle will initially accept Square Wallet payments at its Oakland, Brooklyn and San Francisco Mint Plaza locations and will expand to its remaining locations throughout the year.

“We put a great deal of thought into every detail in each of our stores. We think about the right wood for our counters, the best beans, and how we can continue to serve our customers the perfect cup of coffee as we grow,” said James Freeman, founder of Blue Bottle. “Square’s attention to detail and focus on the customer makes Square Register the right choice for our business.”

Eventually, all of Blue Bottle’s 11 locations will use Square Register as its full POS system.
