AT&T Opens Up to Google Wallet

Carriers of the AT&T’s Samsung Nexus S or Galaxy Nexus can now download Google Wallet directly from the Android Market, according to a report by Android Community.

Customers using AT&T’s competitors, such as T-Mobile or Verizon, must use an alternative method for downloading the app due to “security concerns.”

AT&T’s promotion of Google Wallet adds additional momentum to the sphere of mobile payments.
