Eventbrite Debuts a Dongle of Its Own
Rather than adopt one of the many dongles already available on the market, San Francisco-based event promoter and ticket seller Eventbrite has developed its own, the Wall Street Journal says.
The reader works with Apple’s iPad and an iOS app called “At The Door,” according to WSJ. Kevin Hartz says Eventbrite’s new technology allows their clients to create a “mobile box office” for events.
Eventbrite generates revenues by taking a cut from the ticket sales it helps process. WSJ says it helped sell 21 million tickets last year.
