Square Mobile Hits the Campaign Trail
As the campaign trails heat up for the 2012 election, the popular mobile card reader Square has been swept up for the ride, according to a report by Slash Gear.

President Barack Obama as well as presidential hopeful Mitt Romney have already begun accepting campaign donations via Square.
According to Romney’s campaign spokesperson Zac Moffatt, the platform was utilized during this week’s primary election in Florida. In the Obama arena, rumor has it that there is a project in the works to create a special Obama-themed Square app, which would allow citizens to go out and collect donations on behalf of the president.
