Uber Could Make NYC Return

The New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC) has proposed regulations that would allow transportation booking service Uber to operate in the city, reports Venture Beat. 

The proposal comes after a TLC survey found that 70 percent of respondents have smartphones and 55 percent wanted the ability to “e-hail” taxis. Both Uber and Square had ended their NYC taxi-based trials earlier this month.
