Apple’s Siri Gets Power Of Commerce With iOS 6.1 Update

Apple has released its iOS 6.1 update, and with it Siri has gained the power of commerce, noted VentureBeat. Thanks to the update, Siri can now integrate with Fandango and purchase movie tickets through a linked account. The feature will originally only be available in the U.S., with more countries likely to follow.

The update also provides LTE support for 36 new iPhone carriers and 23 new iPad carriers.
