PayPal Launches QR Code, Mobile Check-In Pilots

PayPal is launching several international payments pilots this week, including a QR code window-shopping platform and a mobile check-in service, reports Tech Crunch.

The PayPal mobile check-in system is launching through four mid-sized retailers in Australia, and allows customers to make in-store purchases using their PayPal app. The QR code trial is rolling out in Amsterdam along the popular De 9 Straatjes district and enables consumers to make purchases by scanning codes in windows.
