Walmart and Mattel have teamed up to create a QR code-enabled virtual toy store in Toronto, Canada, reports Mobile Commerce Daily.

The virtual toy store contains 3D toy images with corresponding QR codes along a 17-mile underground walkway, and allows consumers to purchase items simply by scanning codes with their mobile devices. Walmart launched a similar program with Proctor & Gamble in The U.S. back in June.
