Al-Qassam To Halt U.S. Banking DDoS Attacks Due To Video Removal
The Al-Qassam cyber fighters group has claimed that they will temporarily cease their series of DDoS attacks on U.S. banks following the removal of a video trailer that gives an offensive depiction of the Prophet Muhammaed.
"This is a clear indication of progress and establishment of logic instead of obstinacy. This positive move is a humanitarian effort and in line with paying respect to divine religions which has made billions of people love them; and it's a becoming and proper action," al-Qassam posted in a statement on Pastebin.
The group cautioned that the attacks could continue if other copies of the video are not removed.
