World Bank Urges Mobile Remittances Deregulation

The World Bank has called for the deregulation of mobile remittance payments, citing the 6.5 percent increase in remittances over the past year.
The World Bank’s report states that mobile remittance has yet to realize its full potential thanks to a “regulatory void between financial and telcom regulations,” reports Finextra.
