ROAM and Thatcher Partner On Direct Sales mPOS Innovation

Direct sales innovator Thatcher Technology Group has chosen ROAM’s mobile commerce platform as the basis for its new mPos product for direct selling. 

The partnership will allow Thatcher’s client base to easily and securely accept credit or debit purchases.  The access to ROAM’s capabilities will also help direct-selling companies to avoid card-non-present transaction rates and chargebacks.

“We are very pleased to support Thatcher’s efforts in applying new technology in innovative ways to better serve its customers,” said Patrick Crosson, Vice President of Strategic Accounts for ROAM in a released statement. “Mobile POS capabilities provide tremendous value to direct selling organizations, facilitating a consultative sales approach while accepting card-based payments.”

The new mPos solution will also offer direct-sales merchants either custom-branded or Thatcher-branded ROAM card readers.
