ROAM Releases New mPayments Engine

Mobile commerce platform provider ROAM has announced the launch of a new mobile payments engine.

The company said in a January 13 press release that ROAMmcm 5 allows merchants to manage payments coming from multiple devices, integrate with mobile wallets and configure mobile-oriented anti-fraud measures.

“Deploying an omni-channel solution that includes mobile payments and spans multiple countries is incredibly complicated due to the different regulations in each country,” Ken Paull, CEO of ROAM, said in a statement. “ROAMmcm 5 masks that complexity and can handle a broad array of geographic requirements. That is a must-have for our global customers, who can now make a one-time investment in our platform and be instantly equipped for mobile payments in multiple countries.”

The company also released a YouTube video detailing the new engine, which can be found here.

Paull recently spoke with PYMNTS about how mPOS will become more commonplace in 2014. Get his take on the subject by clicking here.
