Ingenico ePayments Allows Mobile Ordering For Five Guys

Ingenico ePayments, the online and mobile commerce division of Ingenico Group, announced its innovative multichannel payment solution is being implemented with global burger chain Five Guys.

According to Finextra, mobile ordering will be utilized in flagship restaurants in Paris and Madrid, where customers can now pre-order and pre-pay for food before coming in to pick up their orders.

Ingenico ePayments provides a secure mobile payment gateway that enables Five Guys customers to shop securely from mobile, tablet or laptop. The system accepts multiple currencies and payment types, as well as different language options.

“Integrating Ingenico ePayments into our payment setup was simple and flexible enough to allow us to adapt to local preferences,” said William Day, IT director at Five Guys. “This service and flexibility in offering local acquiring partners will help us continue our expansion into mainland Europe and live by our philosophy of ‘perfect and serve.’”

Ingenico will continue to work with Five Guys as it plans to expand the mobile ordering to additional sites in France and Spain. Five Guys is also planning for the next phase of its expansion throughout Europe.

“We looked at the world’s biggest and most innovative payments providers, and it became clear to us that Ingenico could deliver us the best consultancy and services to help us grow faster internationally,” said Day. “The support, availability, advice and technology from the entire Ingenico ePayments team means we can offer our Five Guys fanatics the friendly, trustworthy experience they expect from their favorite restaurant.”
