Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang was among the investors who led a $4.8 million round of funding for Openbucks, a startup creating a gift card-based payment network, TechCrunch reports.
Since launch, Openbucks has signed up tens of thousands of users, according to CEO Marc Rochman, and processed hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of transactions.
