Apple Hints At Major 2014 Product Line Shakeup

In an open letter to employees, Apple CEO Tim Cook suggested that the company has big changes planned for its product lines in 2014, InformationWeek reported on December 23.

“We have a lot to look forward to in 2014, including some big plans that we think customers are going to love,” Cook wrote. “I am extremely proud to stand alongside you as we put innovation to work serving humankind’s deepest values and highest aspirations. I consider myself the luckiest person in the world for the opportunity to work at this amazing company with all of you.”

Apple observers speculate that the Cupertino company will introduce several new products in 2014, including iPhones and iPads with different screen sizes. Apple’s foray into wearable devices was also tops among expectations for the new year.
