BOA Names New Latin American Investment Head

North Carolina-based global financial institution Bank of America has named Alexandre Bettamio, the current CEO of its Brazilian investment-banking unit, the head of the company’s Latin America unit, sources told Reuters on September 17.

Prior to working with Bank of America, Bettamio worked for UBS AG and Banco Pactual SA, the media outlet said. Bettamio has also served as Merrill Lynch’s Brazil CEO.
