Boku, Singtel Partner For Direct Carrier Billing

Carrier billing and cross-platform mobile payments provider Boku has partnered with SingTel, an Asian telecommunications company, to launch direct carrier billing in Singapore, Boku announced in a December 19 press release.

According to the press release, other regional carriers like Optus, AIS and Globe will launch their own versions of the partnership in conjunction with SingTel.

“This partnership gives us the ability to offer our merchant partners carrier billing functionality across the entire Southeast Asia region. It will help them increase conversion rates and grow revenue, all while simplifying the purchase process for consumers,” Boku’s general manager in Asia, Kurt Davis, said in a statement.
