Entropia Universe, a massive, multiplayer online game created by Sweden-based MindArk, added PayPal and Zong as payment options on July 17, a press release for the company said.
The game features a real cash economy where players can deposit funds for adventures.
“It is paramount to our team to continually provide our players with the most secure and convenient methods of payment,” MindArk CEO David Simmons said in a statement. “PayPal will allow them to deposit funds from any computer, while Zong allows them to directly purchase new items using their mobile phones.”
