Loomis Wins Cash Deal With Norway’s DNB Bank

Loomis has been selected by DNB Bank to manage all of its cash handling services in Norway, the company reported in a press release. DNB is the largest bank in the country, and the agreement will last for three years. At the end of the first term, DNB will have the option to continue the agreement for another two years.

Loomis will take care of the transportation of cash and cash processing, as well as be responsible for taking care of 880 machines, which includes more than 300 ATMs.

“The appointment by DNB proves that our strategic emphasis on innovation, IT and delivering high quality services is highly appreciated by the market. This agreement, which is strategically important to Loomis, will put us in position as the market leader in Norway,” said Lars Blecko, CEO and president of Loomis.
