PayPal Targets E.U.’s Underbanked With New Offerings

PayPal has announced a new partnership with TrustPay, a Europe-based payments solution provider that will allow consumers in Finland, Romania and Bulgaria to pay online without a bank card, The Paypers reported on November 8.

The companies plan to leverage PayPal’s top-up feature to allow customers to transfer money from local bank accounts to PayPal accounts, enabling customers to shop online.
