Slovak Telekom, a mobile carrier in Slovakia, announced it is gearing up to roll out an NFC wallet that will enable users to make payments, store loyalty cards and pay for transport, reported NFC World. Slovak Telekom revealed the NFC wallet is expected to be launched before the end of 2013, and will include payment cards from various banks.
“Our aim is to offer the solution, where activation and service management would be possible over-the-air from your mobile phone, with no need to visit your local bank of service provider, ” Slovak Telekom told NFC World.
