71 Percent of Brits Refuse to Use Bitcoin

According to the study, many do not trust the digital currency for online payments.

According to Venda, about 71 percent of British consumers would rather not use Bitcoin when shopping online.

Even though the daily average of Bitcoin is around $68 million, about 43 percent of consumers still don’t trust the digital currency.

When it comes to those who actually want to use the currency, only eight percent of the respondents said yes.

“Our research warns of a fundamental mistrust of Bitcoin and need for more education on how these virtual currencies actually work if they are to truly take off,” Eric Abensur, CEO of Venda said.
