Former Sage Ireland CEO Joins ERP Company’s European Expansion

Cloud accounting and ERP company VersAccountsannounced last week (Aug. 21) that the former Sage UK/Ireland CEO Liam Mullaney will be joining the firm to help in its European expansion. According to a company statement, Mullaney’s experience working as a business software publisher will be beneficial in his working with VersAccounts.

“He has the deep experience that VersAccounts needs to grow its business globally,” VersAccounts Ltd. CEO Sunil Pande said of Mullaney joining the company. “More important, though, is Liam’s creative and lateral thinking and his culture of always focusing on the customer. These qualities perfectly match the VersAccounts way of doing business.”

The $2.5B small business ERP market is poorly served today, Mullaney explained, which is why he’s excited to work with VersAccounts.

“These are rapidly growing companies that have complex operations,” Mullaney said.

“They need a full function ERP but can’t afford it. So they make do with accounting software, spreadsheets and manual processes. VersAccounts’ mission is to change this by disrupting the traditional pricing of ERP systems and making them affordable to these small businesses through the use of cloud and mobile technologies.”
