Google Pushes Travel Services on Android Phones

The company is adding a voice search for hotel and flight searches for Android phones.

Google is adding a new feature to its hotel and restaurant search on Android, according to TechCrunch. Users will be able to type or speak inquiries and then the search results will reveal a list of hotels.

Once a user books a flight or hotel, they will be able to make the purchase by using Google Wallet.

Since Google’s purchase of ITA Travel, the company has been adding travel-related products to its search engine. In fact, Google has already added its flight search into its voice search, according to the company.

The company also believes that the new voice search feature is meant to make last-minute reservations easier.
