Retail Chain Enters Digital Age For B2B Sales

The general merchandise retailer ATWOODS announced this week that it was adding a new store to its 55-brick-and-mortar locations – and it’s a digital one. ATWOODS is partnering with ShopVisible to launch its first transactional eCommerce website.

According to a company press release, the eCommerce option will provide inventory visibility and online ordering capabilities designed to provide a broader product line to ATWOODS’ increasing customer base.

ATWOODS eCommerce project manager Dustin Koehn explained in the release that ShopVisible has provided excellent eCommerce direction best practices to help his organization expand its brand and serve a broader audience.

“It is very refreshing to work with a company that ‘understands both the technology and business side of operations – their guidance has been incredibly valuable to us,” Koehn said.

ShopVisible CEO Sean Cook agreed, saying that his company is excited to help ATWOOD roll out functionality as its eCommerce business expands. The newly integrated omnichannel commerce model is guaranteed to boost customer satisfaction, build customer loyalty and increase revenue, Cook said in the release.

“As eCommerce expectations continue to grow with the rise of mobile transactions and online showrooms, smart retailers not only recognize, but prioritize the need to serve customers through multiple channels and surpass their online shopping expectations,” Cook said.
