Tungsten Network Gains 46th Compliant EInvoicing Country

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is the latest nation to gain compliant e-invoicing. According to a Tungsten Network press release, this now makes the global electronic trading network active in 46 countries.

The release explained that by completing a thorough review of Emirati commercial law, Tungsten Network, now allows customers to send and receive electronic invoices that qualify as a legal invoice in the UAE.

“Tungsten Network is continuing its multi-million pound investment program to help our buyer and supplier customers achieve global compliance across their invoice-automation programs,” Tungsten Corporation Group CEO Edmund Truell said in the release. “A number of our major clients have identified the UAE as a key market, and we’re delighted to deliver this important territory to them as we help them trade with confidence.”

Just a few weeks ago, Tungsten announced that the global manufacturer of constructing and mining equipment Caterpillar would be using its program for its suppliers across the UK and Poland. At that time, a Tungsten spokesperson said that buyer organizations that utilize OB10 e-Invoicing through the Tungsten Network can reduce their invoice-processing costs by 60 percent.
