YellowPepper, a Latin American mobile payment solutions provider, announced the expansion of its reach to Ecuador through a new partnership.

YellowPepper is teaming up with Diners Club of Ecuador, which is estimated to be the largest and most widely accepted issuer in the country, to bring its mobile payments features to a new region through the PayClub wallet.

“We have been hard at work with two back-to-back launches in September and November and have many developments in the pipeline,” said Serge Elkiner CEO and Co-Founder of YellowPepper, in a press release. “We are very excited to announce this important partnership in the region and look forward to closing out the year strong.”

According to the statement, the Diners Club of Ecuador currently has more than 450,000 clients and has issued nearly 600,000 active credit cards.

The PayClub wallet will enable users to enroll and make mobile payments with their Diners and Visa Interdin cards, view mobile-based promotions, receive notifications and access their transaction history and manage accounts on-the-go.

“We are extremely excited to roll out this mobile payments application through our partnership with YellowPepper,” said Ignacio Maldonado, Country Business Manager of Diners Club del Ecuador. “We work hard to bring our customers the latest and safest way to manage their payments through technology that is widely accessible to the majority of our customers.”
