A Partnership To Fill Accounting’s AR Gaps

A new partnership between two corporate accounting service providers aims to provide businesses with a more well-rounded solution. Wednesday (Nov. 25) reports said accounts receivable management firm e2b teknologies is collaborating with accounting software firm IntegraSys, a move that will look to automate many of the financial management processes encountered by suppliers.

Reports said e2b teknologies’ Anytime Collect AR tool will integrate into IntegraSys’s DSD Manager accounting suite of services, which serves the Direct Store Delivery needs of the beverage, snack, dairy and ice cream market.

IntegraSys’ services include mobile invoicing and ordering, digital data aggregation and other automated financial tools. It will now provide corporate users with the ability to remind corporate customers to pay and settle their invoices, as well as collect those ACH or credit card ePayments, via the Anytime Collect service.

The integration will also streamline data flow, aggregation and analysis between the two databases, the companies said. Accounts receivable information, like outstanding invoices and payments, will synchronize straight into Anytime Collect, while DSD Manager data will also land on the platform.

In a statement, IntegraSys Managing Director Peter D’Angelo said the tie-up is in response to feedback from corporate clients.

“A growing number of our customers were coming to us with questions looking to help better manage invoice collections and cash flow,” he said.

With a partnership aimed around automation for corporate finance, e2b teknologies appears to be banking on shifting views of such technology. The company published a whitepaper last October highlighting the anxieties felt by many suppliers and businesses that use an AR automation tool, though CEO Bill Henslee said many of these fears are “based on half-truths and common misconceptions.”
