With Bigcommerce, Xero will reportedly streamline the ability for data from the online shopping platform to flow into Xero’s accounting tool, integrating information from both platforms for corporate clients of each.

According to Xero Australia Managing Director Chris Ridd, the integration means it will ease friction come tax reporting time.

“Xero’s accounting software is powerful when it’s connected to other core business services like Bigcommerce,” he told the publication, adding that the integration is free to clients and allows online retailers the ability to gain “a complete picture of their critical sales data and finances, enabling them to grow their business quickly and seamlessly.”

Meanwhile, accountancy firm KPMG has reportedly tapped Xero to link its platform into KMPG Agile, the conglomerate’s own accounting platform that will connect corporate customers to a range of financial service tools on a single portal. Reports noted that Xero had already collaborated with KMPG in the U.K.

“Small businesses looking to KMPG for advice on how to run their business will now see Xero as a positive example of cloud accounting software,” Ridd told reporters of the partnership.
