Ariett provides cloud-based purchasing and expense management software. MineralTree offers its own invoice pay software. Together, the companies are looking to strengthen their procure-to-pay offerings.

On Wednesday (July 20), the companies said they struck a collaborative deal to automate payment processing for their business customers. Ariett’s applications will be offered through the MineralTree platform, and Ariett’s existing business users will gain access to MineralTree’s payment processing services, including fraud protection and other features.

“Ariett customers and their vendors will gain an end-to-end view of all their expense transactions from requisitions, to cXML PunchOut, to purchase orders, to invoices, to expense reports, to payments, with electronic documents and approval audit trail all on one platform,” the firms said in their release.

According to Ariett President Glenn Brodie, their collaboration is a reflection of the changing face of payment processing for businesses.

“The automation of payment processing is swiftly moving from the back-end ERP accounting systems into software solutions focused on cost savings, control and efficiency in processing accounts payable and procurement across the organization,” the executive stated. “MineralTree‘s multichannel payment platform offers a strong foundation for secure payment verification as an integrated component of Ariett’s complete procure-to-pay application.”

In a separate statement, MineralTree President and CEO BC Krishna pointed to the company’s ability to handle payments through multiple rails.

“MineralTree is pleased to partner with Ariett to provide our innovative payments platform that enables multiple payment methods, including virtual cards, and is guaranteed secure,” Krishna stated. “Both companies have strong customer success records and value innovation that our customers depend on.”

MineralTree’s collaboration with Ariett follows several months after the firm announced an expansion of its partner program, enabling its accounts payable and payments solution to be resold through official partners.
