CRE Secure Announces Integrated Connection to PayLeap

CRE Secure, the industry’s first cloud-based, elegantly designed, secure payment solution for online merchants, announced today that its PCI-compliant payment acceptance service is now integrated with PayLeap, a company that offers electronic payment services. This integration substantially reduces the risks associated with security breaches and the incident of online fraud for online merchants and their customers.

With its innovative, HTML clone™ design, online consumers are redirected to CRE Secure’s hosted payment platform through a window seamlessly mirrored from within their trusted merchant’s website. Since visually consumers feel like they never leave the merchant’s site, online merchants are able to maintain greater levels of branding continuity and security for their customers when processing ‘card not present’ transactions. This empowers merchants to better protect the investment in their website’s design and CRE Secure’s service can be easily integrated with PayLeap’s merchant customers.

“PCI compliance and secure customer data management has moved into the spotlight and is on the minds of merchants, ecommerce developers and online commerce platform providers now more than ever before in the history of online commerce,” said Daryn Barney, VP, Business Development for PayLeap. “As an online payment service provider, we are committed to providing our merchants peace of mind. We do this by offering merchants affordable and cutting edge online security tools like CRE Secure. Our partnership with CRE Secure enables PayLeap to streamline PCI compliance for online sellers.”

CRE Secure’s service enables merchants to achieve full PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) compliance relative to their processing of card payments online. These standards were enacted by the world's major credit card companies in response to the growing number of expensive data breaches. Beginning Oct. 1, 2010, new online retailers will no longer be allowed to host credit card transactions in non PCI-approved environments, and those that are not compliant can be fined, have their transaction fees raised, or have their merchant accounts frozen.

“Our focus is in serving the needs of online merchants and helping them better protect themselves and their valued customers from theft at the point of online payment,” said Greg McGraw, CEO of CRE Secure Payments, LLC. “To that end, we have designed our patented technology from the ground up with merchants’ needs and preferences in mind. In working with PayLeap, its users now have direct access to a fully compliant service that gives them increased flexibility and control over the payment process.”
