Houlihan Lokey Hires Lyle Wilpon in Expansion of Mergers and Acquisitions Group

Houlihan Lokey, the international investment bank, today announced that Lyle Wilpon has joined the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group as a Managing Director, based in New York. He reports to Steven Tishman, Global Head of the Mergers & Acquisitions Group.

Mr. Wilpon joins from Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML), where he most recently served as head of the firm’s middle market M&A group. Before joining BAML in 1999, he spent six years as an M&A specialist at Credit Suisse First Boston focused on the healthcare sector. Prior experience also includes positions at Lazard Frères and Wasserstein Perella. Mr. Wilpon began his investment banking career in 1988.

Mr. Wilpon holds a B.A., magna cum laude, from Amherst College and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
