BevMo! (Beverages & More!), the ultimate neighborhood specialty beverage retailer, today announced it will be the first retailer in California and Arizona to sell Casamigos Tequila, which is now available for purchase exclusively at BevMo! and on BevMo.com.

George Clooney and longtime friend, bar and restaurant mogul, Rande Gerber, partnered with Discovery Land Company CEO & founder Mike Meldman, to create Casamigos Tequila, named after Clooney and Gerber’s houses in Mexico, which roughly translates to “house of friends.”

Until March, only BevMo! customers and select bars will have the opportunity to “drink like George” with Casamigos Tequila. To celebrate the new spirit, BevMo! will be kicking off dedicated Casamigos tastings in its Los Angeles store later this month.

Casamigos Tequila is a small batch ultra-premium tequila made from the finest, hand-selected, 100 percent Blue Weber agaves, which are grown in the rich, red clay soil and cool climate of the Jalisco Highlands of Mexico. Each batch is tasted and approved by Casamigos master distiller, Gerber and Clooney, ensuring the highest quality before going into the bottle. The batches are then numbered and signed by Gerber and Clooney.
