Payment services company ProPay, a TSYS company, announced Thursday (Jan. 21) a new partnership with Tabs3 Software to enable law firms to process payment electronic payments through a fully integrated client bill-pay solution.

Within the Tabs3 software, law firms will no longer have to wait days to receive payments due to traditional merchant account underwriting. Instead, the solution provides the ability to accept electronic funds transfers or debit and credit card payments instantly via online signup.

“Client billing is the lifeblood of any law firm,” Ryan Oakes, ProPay COO, said in a statement. “Integrating ProPay payment services with Tabs3 gives law firms greater efficiency and productivity while providing peace of mind that their transactions are secure.”

To accept payments with Tabs3, law firms can sign up online without having to complete paperwork. ProPay and Tabs3 Software coming together on this offering also provides a real-time merchant account setup, single sign-on bank account settlement reconciliation and transparency in processing fees, the statement continued.

“Teaming with ProPay extends our functionality and provides law firms with an innovative and easy-to-use way for clients to pay their invoices while reducing the burden of operational tasks,” said Dan Berlin, president of Software Technology, Inc., the maker of Tabs3 and PracticeMaster software.
