Jason Richelson started ShopKeep POS, a cloud-based iPad POS system for businesses, so merchants could better track their sales and operations while also saving time and money. Jason has first hand experience as a successful retailer, but had many problems with server-based POS system in his retail store. While on his vacation the servers crashed, essentially closing the store for business indefinitely. This was the turning point for Jason, inspiring him to build a cloud-based point of sale system for merchants like him. From this experience ShopKeep POS was born.
