Biography

Dan is an entrepreneur and a banker. 

Dan is a marketer with a degree in statistics.

He appreciates that this makes him a bundle of contradictions.

Dan is CEO and co-founder of PerkStreet, a financial services firm built for people who love deals and saving money.  PerkStreet bank accounts let you earn cash back for spending, saving, and getting smart about your money.  PerkStreet serves more customers than half the banks and credit unions in the country and is giving more than a million dollars a year in cash back.  The company is backed by Highland Capital and Globespan Capital Partners.

Previous to founding PerkStreet, Dan was an executive at Capital One, where he co-founded Capital One’s Payments division and relaunched the bank’s cash back credit card business, now a multi-million card portfolio.  He began his career as a consultant at Oliver Wyman, serving Fortune 1000 financial services firms and retailers.

Dan is a passionate believer in the power of data and analytics to shape industries and minds.  He has built optimization models for multi-billion dollar retailers and taught physics to high school students.  He has a BSE from Princeton University and is a member of Sigma Xi.
