SEC Names George Canellos New Acting Director Of Enforcement

The Securities and Exchange Commission has named George Canellos as its new Acting Director of the Division of Enforcement.

Canellos will replace Robert S. Khuzami, the current Division of Enforcement Director who is leaving the SEC on February 8.

“It is an honor and inspiration to serve with such talented and dedicated colleagues throughout the SEC,” said Canellos.  “I look forward to continuing to work with them as we emerge from a historic restructuring and confront new challenges.”
